The weeks after wedding

Well, we have been married for 2 1/2 weeks now and it has been wonderful. We have learned lots. We are staying at someone's house in my parents ward for the next month or so. They have an old dog we are watching and we have been watching my parents dog too Reese. It has been interesting to watch dogs. Definitely a wake up call to me, on what it takes to watch a dog. Their dog doesn't like thunderstorms either and so one night when I was SUPER tired and wanted to be in bed I was watching him instead and cleaning up his poo and stuff and learned what it will be like some nights when we have kids or an animal and what we need to do to take care of them.

Its also been nice, my parents are still in the west with all the family and so it is nice to be here with Steve and have nights where there is peace and quiet and all we have to do is watch some TV if we would like.

We were talking about it last night and saying how lazy we are feeling but then at the same time we should enjoy it because when life picks up and my parents come home and when we start school in the fall we won't have this peace and quiet so I am happy to be lazy and to have him come home to me and we watch some TV, I know it won't always be like that so we are going to enjoy it!

The house also has a pool, I would have to say that if we do settle down here in Florida we might want to look into a pool, although I think they are quite hard to take care of. It is nice to have a pool right now. The only things we need to do is watch the dog, the rest of it is taken care of and we get to watch this house and not pay any rent. It is the life right now.

I am not wanting a dog for awhile though, they are hard work or get one that isn't scared of thunderstorms and only have one for awhile. Our dog, Reese is SO used to being the only dog, so it is quite interesting to watch her with the other dog. She is very possessive of ALL her things haha.

Well, I have to say during the years i was at college and in this last year, because it has been a whole year that i have been graduated, well on the 18th it would have been a year!! I have changed a ton and I would have to say that being a stay home mom who doesn't work right now, it is very nice. I love cooking meals and doing the laundry and taking the dog for a walk and making sure his lunch for the next day is ready to go. It is all fun and I am loving it. Which is a change from a year ago, i didn't want to be married or stay at home, I wanted to be a business woman and I would have to say I was crazy to think that way.

The Lord truly blesses us when we are married too. I used to struggle with making delicious meals but now it seems that all these ideas are popping into my head and I actually enjoy cooking and being in the kitchen and want to make all this stuff and have a dehydrator so I can cook foods and make our own fruit roll ups and dried bananas and such, it would be all fun!! Well, that is what has happened. Married life is wonderful and hard when they say put your lives together as one it is hard at first and we are learning and loving our time together. I love having him come home to me every night and ready to spend time together and not have to go out and do anything. I also love having him in the same bed with me and to grow together at all times!! It really is a wonderful life :)

Well, that is us caught up for now! I will post more later when we have things to post!!
For now, goodbye!! Have a great week to all our friends out there!
