ENGAGED!!

Okay for all my friends that do not have Facebook I am going to tell you how everything got started!! 

Steve actually popped the question the first time on January 31st. We had watched "Van Helsing" (really romantic movie lol...) and we had talked a bit afterworths using "we" and through casual conversation and some joking we were doing umm.. we had talked before about owning a dog and he said we could buy a dog now and it could stay at my house for sometime and then at yours sometimes.. I was wondering what in the world he was talking about. A little bit later he asked me if I would marry him. I answered Yes. He then said he That is how it all started :) We then kept it quiet till it sunk in and did some shopping.. figured out the date etc. 

On February 23rd, 2009, He came to my house dressed in "church attire" as in nice slacks, a blue shirt, tie and I was wondering what was going on. (Steve is usually dressed in khaki shorts, a tshirt and flip flops) which he did have flip flops on when he was dressed nicely. It was cute! I asked him what he was doing dressed up and he said he was going to try to do some home teaching today but it fell through. I was like okay that is how Steve works so that's cool. Didn't think anything else. 

Skyler, my brother, had a friend over so Steve said we should go upstairs we did. He pulled out is i-phone which does about everything in the world and started playing some music. We were listening to it and just chilling when one of the songs that came on was the song that plays in the "Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy" all calm and whatever and those who have at least seen the trailor will know what i am talking about.. and a little bit into the song on the trailor of the movie.. the earth explodes.. So i brought that up and was talking to Steve about that. Steve did pull us back to the "romantic part of everything" when he said there was a reason for his dressing up.. I was thinking at that moment.. Oh my gosh maybe.. just maybe.. he than gave me a big hug and said he wanted to come over and give me a big hug, and kiss. so he did.. Paused and then he got on one knee and proposed! 

So that is the whole story of how it all happened.

Our date: June 27, 2009 married in the Orlando Temple, with a reception that night starting from 6-8 pm oh and will have a ring ceremony before that.. details will be in the announcements coming out end of April beginning of May. 

We will be having an Open House in Utah, Lehi area. July 3rd, for those of our family and friends that are far away and cannot come we will be having that from 6-8 pm, so those that are out in the west are ALL invited!! 

Steve and I met, for those who don't know that story at a singles dance in September and pulled off from the beginning. He is the greatest part of me that has ever happened and I look forward to forever with him :) 

For those.. that think that singles dances are lame and not worth going to.. I would rethink that.. anything can happen at a singles dance :)

Hey again

So I am not use to getting on here and updating my blog so I need to try to get on here a little more! So what has been going on over on my side.. well! lots has been going on! After graduation I am still working as a nanny for three families in my parents ward and watch their children so they can still go out on dates and get other things done with the house etc. I am still with Steve and we are enjoying our times with each other and head to the different theme parks here in Orlando and also went to the keys for New Years it was a lot of fun! 

My family is doign great and Shanell is now on a mission in the philippines and I am loving her and hearing her stories of what is going on with her! It is great :) So that is that! 

I am still doing good and looking forward to a new year of new excitements! 

Thats it for now! YOu are now officially caught up with my life as of the new year! 

Tinae Updated

SO I think it is about time that I update all that is going on in my life! i am in Orlando Florida, I have been here for 4 months and am loving my time here :) I watch kids every week and have a few families that i watch and love the time with kids and to get paid to play is way fun! I am also doing some contract work in Graphic Design now and will hopefully learn so much about graphic design and be paid to play on that also :) 

I am with someone, he is in the picture with Chandra, Me, Steve (thats him), and skyler and we are enjoying getting to know each other and being with each other! I really like him and look forward to the future! 

What about graduation?? Here are pictures for all to see! It was one of the most wonderful days of my life! I love having my diplomat and seeing the great changes of graduating and being able to say I have done it! It is totally worth it to me! The pictures are of me and with family. My family and with my dear grandparents who have taken care and watched me grow in the last four years that live in Idaho Falls, me on stage and with my favorite cousin and his soon to be wife Amanda and Jared, I hooked them up! Yay for them!! I am happy to have them and the little girl in my arms is Sadie my beautiful little cousin I grew very close to!

These are two of my most favorite people ever in Idaho! My last job was the greatest blessing i have ever had!! Elder and Sister Driggs were two people that I worked very closely with and I love them so much! I worked at the Internship & Career Services on campus for the last 6 mo. at school and it was the best job i have ever had there at school! I will miss these two so much!
